One address, read by one person.
There is no contact form on this site, and there will not be one. A form needs a server to receive it and a database to keep what it receives, and the whole point of the way this site is built is that it has neither. An email address is the honest version of the same thing.
Link exchanges, guest posts, sponsored articles, offers to "improve the SEO" of pages I wrote deliberately, and anything that begins by telling me it has read my content with great interest. None of these are personal — I would just rather say it here once than reply to each one.
This is one person and not a support desk. I read everything that arrives. Replies can take a few days, and occasionally longer if the answer needs me to go and change something first — which is often the useful outcome anyway.
Mail to hello@oursharedcode.com is forwarded to a personal inbox, so a reply will arrive from a different address than the one you wrote to. That is not someone else answering; it is the same person, with a mail setup that receives on the domain but does not send from it.
If you would rather not use email, the studio is open on GitHub and an issue there works just as well for anything about that project.
Your message and address sit in an ordinary mailbox and are used to answer you. They do not go into a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. They are not passed to anyone. The privacy policy covers the rest of the site.
